Hope For Martin

I started to write this post but, I couldn’t seem to finish it… Today is the day I have to share their story! It is one that I don’t wish on anyone of my friends but one that happens so often. My sweet blogger friend Emily from The Freckled Fox said goodbye to her forever love, her Husband Martin. They found out a year ago Martin was diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma. He was tough and battled like a champion but lost his fight with cancer last Wednesday morning June, 15th. They share together 5 kids all under the ago of 6 years old. They are such a precious family and Emily & Martin have a deep bond of LOVE that every married couple should share. If you are needing a facelift on YOUR married, please check out another of my blogger friends mission on “building better than average marriages” at Beating 50 Percent. My heart is just ripping out of my chest for Emily and her sweet babies. Please read as Emily shares her journey on her blog HERE. Over the past year, Emily has researched all things cancer she has given every second of every day to learning about this awful disease. Her knowledge and persistence was deep. However, the one thing about Emily is that she writes on her blog so beautifully. As she writes she is comforting all of her readers, seriously- I don’t know how she does it, somehow I find strength and comfort from her when it should be the other way around. In the blogging community, we all are one BIG Family. My goal is to share Martin’s Legacy, share their journey and help in anyway possible. I wanted to share the link to a fundraiser fund for Emily and the kids on a You Caring Site HERE… As you can imagine the hospital bills are insane. Please DON’T feel obligated to donate, I just wanted to share all the information I had on this amazing Family. I continue to pray for everyone grieving Martin, we all lost a wonderful human being. Knowing he is an angel walking in Heaven and free of cancer, gives me comfort. As Father’s Day came and went, I know Emily celebrated with their kids and will do so daily. Happy Father’s Day Martin.
