A week ago, I was watching a television show called "The Chew" and I saw this amazing segment about a man with a HUGE Heart! Chef Chad Houser offered 3 young men a job... these children were incarcerated before the age of 18 for non-violent crimes. These boys have been labeled by the juvenile justice system as "throwaways"- children who were discarded by society. Therefore, Cafe Momentum was born. Ellie and Taylor are having their Summer to remember. Being a teenager and being able to drive has given Ellie new wings! The Girls have adventured out on shopping trips, hiking trips, vacations, workout classes, farmers markets and lake trips. It's FUN seeing them buzz around town. It's especially FUN when they try new places. Yesterday, they went to Tea Bar... In Northeast Portland. This clean and crisp restaurant ended up becoming the back drop to their photo shoot!
