Last night, Jason surprised me and took me downtown to an awesome BBQ dinner date. We had such a great time. I love trying new restaurants and we tend to go to the same places. Russell Street BBQ is in NE Portland. This restaurant has a fun rustic flair to it... I loved the old Portland Bottling Company crate housing the bar accessories. (Adorable) For an appetizer we ordered BBQ Shrimp- Holy Cow! It came sitting inside of a BBQ Smoked Cheese sauce. WHAT? But yummy... I ordered Beef Brisket with a side of Chili con Carne.
