Nothing makes me happier than laying by the poolside. Spring Break is always one of our favorite family vacations. Living in Oregon, we don't see much sunshine until far later in the year. When we travel to Arizona for Spring Break for Evan's baseball, Ellie and I bought a few new swim suits for the season. This one above is one of my new favorites. April Showers Brings May Flowers

I can't even believe it's APRIL! I feel like I just put my Christmas decorations away. We just returned from Spring vacation- I'm super relaxed and recharged. Thank heavens we just saw some sunshine because with all this rain here in Oregon we definitely needed our vitamin D. Remember the saying "April Showers Bring May Flowers"! Evan’s Knee Surgery

Evan tore his ACL playing basketball... We were heart broken, he would have ACL surgery and sad for him that he wouldn't be playing Spring and Summer baseball. But, super thankful he will be healthy and ready to be mobile after he heals. Surgery went better than expected the Doctor was able to remove 10 inches of his quad ligament instead of the 8 inches they thought they would be able to get. Once IN surgery the Doctors also found out that he tore his Meniscus and cleaned that out as well. Now with his knee fixed, he will be recovering for 6-9 months with physical therapy. Poor Kid... Biscuit Love

I think... YOU might think all I do is EAT? (laughing emoji) I have another restaurant to try IF you are ever in Nashville! BISCUITS LOVE... This is a breakfast place where you can indulge in biscuits and gravy. I couldn't decide so I picked a few things off the menu. Sweet Tea is always a must when traveling in the South, I got my gravy sauce on the side because I wasn't sure how much they put on and I wanted to taste it but I didn't want it to be soaked in gravy. Bar Taco

  One of my very favorite places to eat is Bar Taco in Nashville. I've been here a number of times and I really crave it when I'm home. During my Mastermind Retreat we all went for Lunch. I got their seasonal watermelon margarita, which was so refreshing. Bar Taco is super casual and basically all a cart style menu. We got table side guacamole for all of us to share and I got a couple of my favorite tacos. Ok- seriously, I'm in Heaven! I could eat Taco (Tex Mex) everyday... YUMMO! Jeni’s Ice Cream Shop

    While in Nashville we had to stop by Jeni's Ice Creamery! Bucket list - check... I mean really look at this Ice Cream cone. The top scoop is a monthly special Brumbleberry and the bottom scoop is Salted Caramel. Can I just say "Delish!" Mastermind Retreat

I'm so excited to be in Nashville again for a Mastermind Retreat. The Savvy Business Owners OG's are what we call ourselves. I am truly blessed to be among such amazing women entrepreneurs. We rented a AirBNB and stayed all together in one house. We giggled, laughed and cried together. We spoke about each of our businesses, we helped each other goal set and problem solve. Running a business can be daunting but when you have friends and people who understand what you are going through as a business owner it makes a such a difference. I'm so happy for a friend of mine who just got married. Tina + Bill decided on a destination Wedding to Ilsa Mujeres....... The Bride & Groom decided to have a reception celebration in their home town where friends and family could attend. Destination Weddings seem to be trending right now. Rainbow Party

I am completely obsessed with this amazing RAINBOW party my friends over at Happy Wish Company who designed this adorable party! With all this rain we have had here in Portland, bright colors and rainbows are just what I needed. I can't get over how cute the rainbow + cloud balloons are. Also, loving the Polka Dot balloons sprinkled on the ground. (In my SHOP) All the colors are so fun and vibrant. It makes me excited for Spring.
