Ellie's First Prom
She had the best Date ever. Ellie and Aaron went to Prom with this huge group of friends from school. Ellie started the day by heading to Starbucks and then off to her hair appointment. After her hair appointment she met her best friends (Taylor and Olivia) for pedicures. Ellie was especially excited for her pedicure after a long week of dance tryouts (she made the team) and after her half Marathon last weekend. Well deserved. Tinkerbell Half Marathon
We DID IT! Ellie and I feel so accomplished. I am so proud of Ellie for finishing her first Half Marathon. We woke up at 3:30am, got ready and made our way to the start of the race. We raced through California Adventure and through Disneyland. We of course had to stop and take a few photos along the way! I had one of the BEST Mother's Day Ever. Race Prep
Big Day! This day we were prepping for "Race Day." Ellie and I went to the Expo Center to get our bibs for the race, we shopped the Expo where they had everything RUNNING you could imagine. New Balance had a special "Tinkerbell" running shoe that you can only purchase on site. Tu-tu's to fancy headbands. More runners run in costume than not... Disneyland Day 2
This was our second (2) day in Disneyland. We had a wonderful day relaxing and riding more rides! Ellie was getting totally bugged by me taking her photo. She said... "NO more!" Then, in Ellie fashion she started posing for the next photo. I love her! We shopped in Downtown Disney District. I was totally obsessed with these adorable Minnie Mouse Caramel Apples from Marceline's Confectionery. Aren't they the sweetest things ever? The Minnie ears are Marshmellows :) They also made Frozen Olaf's as well as Cinderella's Carriage. You have to go to this adorable candy store if you are at Disneyland. Disneyland Day 1
We had the best first day exploring Disneyland and California Adventure. We went on a bunch of rides. We also took a ton of photos. I have to say my NEW favorite area is Route 66 in California Adventure. It totally looks like your in the Arizona Mountains and on the set of Cars. Amazing! I love the set design as well as the styling on this Disney section. We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel this time because it's super close to the start and finish spots of the race.
