Nailed It

Ok- so if you know me... You know I never leave the house without my nails polished! There are some ladies that never leave without makeup, or their hair done, well not me- it's my nails. Presidents Day featuring Forever21

Hope your enjoying your President's Day! My kids weren't to happy with me this morning, I made a dental cleaning appointment at 10am. It worked out great for me! Besides they didn't have to miss school this way. Afterwards, they were happier because NO Cavitities means Frozen Yogurt! Valentine DIY

I miss making Valentines with my kids... When they were younger, we sat around the kitchen and crafted Valentine treats for their classmates. They hand wrote on each and every Valentine card. It took us days to finish. They always added a sweet treat with their cards. This year, I made a few sweet treats of my own. I started with these gift boxes, one I just added a sticker to. Then, the other Box I used material tape (from the craft store) to add cute detail to the box. Finished it off with a beautiful ribbon. The last gift idea I used this glass jar I got from IKEA. My Skincare Routine

These are a few of my everyday must haves in my skincare routine. I always cleanse my face throughly at bedtime. My morning routine is Dermalogica Face Mask which hydrates my skin before applying makeup. At night before bed, I always start with Philosophy face wash wipes to remove my eye makeup. I then wash the rest of my facial makeup with either Phytomer Gentle Cleansing Milk or Dermaquest fash wash. When my face is clean and all my makeup is removed I then use my Clarisonic with a little dot of Cetaphil on the brush head. I only use my Clarisonic a few times a week. Canby Competition

The Clackamas Cavalettes presents... Blue Ocean Floor- State season has arrived. This last weekend was super busy, along with our High School Baseball Auction. We had our High School's Dance team first state season competition! Whoo-hoo!! Go Cavalettes. Ellie's team placed second at this competition and we are so pleased with those results as always we only present part of our State routine. We danced amazing and it showed. We don't have our costumes or our make-up finalized just yet so we didn't present it at this competition. Next competition is in a couple weeks- I'll keep you posted! Baseball Auction

This past week, I was crazy busy preparing for Clackamas High School's Baseball Auction. I helped with decorations and made 200 chocolate dipped Oreo cookie baseballs. They turn out adorable but were super time consuming. This sit down dinner is an annual event that our Baseball Club Hosts to raise money for field improvements. This year our goal is to raise enough money to build "lights" around our field. (fingers crossed) The last couple years it has been a SOLD OUT event! This year was no exception.
