Snail Mail

  I don't know many people who HATE getting a sweet hand written letter in the mailbox? Do you? I have a special Aunt who always sends hand written notes to me in the mail. My heart swells every time I get one. I know this makes me feel so good, so why don't I do the same thing to others? Sending a email ISN'T the same... I'm a visual person, so I love a cute card. Editing Secret

There are all kinds of apps out there for editing your photos. There are apps that will add filters, brighten, saturate, add sparkles and much more. My favorite editing app is actually Instagram itself, now that they have added the tools function. Below is the unedited version of my photo. It already looks pretty good, because I took it with a lot of natural light. In the Instagram app, I use the "tools" section to increase both the saturation and the brightness. Hand Lettered Design

I can't even tell you how much I adore this Lady! Lisa Funk is AMAZING... Ok, so I missed Follow Friday but I believe it's NEVER too late to share someone who is so talented as Lisa. Lisa is a Hand Letterer. Some would say a calligrapher, however she isn't because she does all of her art with pens. I met Lisa at The Inspired Retreat last Fall. Preparing Taxes

Last summer, I met Amy at The Savvy Business Conference in Arizona. She is such a sweet, soft spoken lady- I instantly feel in love with her and her CPA skills. Up until now, when anyone would say "CPA" it was like nails on a chalkboard for me. I do all the books for my Husband's company as well as Johnston Style and I can't tell you how much I hated tax season. Guess WHAT?! NO LONGER... The colors are super pigmented and last all day. Keep your eyes open during the SALES, I will remind you when they happen. Cycle Class

I went to a 5:30am cycle class yesterday morning! I decided to try something NEW... Each year and every season I spice up my workout routine. If I don't, I get bored- So I decided to add into my workout schedule a cycle class. Oh my goodness- I had a BLAST! I only almost fell off the bike once... Happy New Year 2017

  Happy New Year! Seriously, I can't even believe it's the New Year- I am the luckiest lady on the planet! I'm here, I'm healthy and I'm happy... I have a feeling 2017 is going to be GREAT! The Best Of 2016

As 2016 comes to an end... I am so grateful for all that happened throughout the year and wanted to share my favorites with you! February, I met my sweet Instagram friend Jenny Keller with Jenny Cookies. I attended a Valentines luncheon she hosted in Seattle, Washington. She was as beautiful in person as she was on Instagram. Together Experience

I can't believe Christmas is OVER! (tear) We are out of town at my parents home in Bend, Oregon. They have buckets of snow!! I'm taking a little family time away before the New Year starts. I have some AMAZING news... I'm SPEAKING at a Conference in February. I am over the moon excited and honored to be part of this group of women entrepreneurs. Cosmic Tubing

What a FUN evening! Christmas Eve, Eve- My Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law, Jason & I all took the kids up to the mountain for a exciting Christmas  adventure. We went up to Mt. Hood for "Cosmic Tubing!" We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and tubed for hours. We also warmed up half way through in the lodge. The Kids got Hot Chocolates & French Fries while the Adults took "Shot-Ski's" 4 shots on one ski taken at the same time. Warmed me right up... Late night, after tubing... we headed down the mountain and ate pizza at Paola's Pizza in Sandy, Oregon.
