Hope For Martin

I started to write this post but, I couldn't seem to finish it... Today is the day I have to share their story! It is one that I don't wish on anyone of my friends but one that happens so often. My sweet blogger friend Emily from The Freckled Fox said goodbye to her forever love, her Husband Martin. They found out a year ago Martin was diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma. Happy Birthday Evan

  My sweet Baby Boy is SIXTEEN... I can't even believe it! He is officially Driving. We celebrated by going to breakfast at one of my kids favorite hot spots {Waffle Window} Evan's Grandma & Grandpa were in town for the celebration. Happy Father’s Day

We had such a FUN Father's Day- We drove up to Tacoma Washington to watch The Tacoma Rainiers baseball team. Jason bought a baseball experience package at our local Baseball Auction that included these tickets in a box suite.  We took family & friends for our Father's Day adventure. Jason and I both were super excited our parents could join us for the day. Oh my goodness, you wouldn't believe the Rainiers WON! In the twelfth inning bases were loaded and two outs... Edgefield Date Night

  This last weekend, Jason and I had an impromptu "Date Night!" Jason really loves McMenamin's restaurants. He decided to surprise me and plan a date night all by himself. He took me out to Edgefield McMenamin's, we walked through the beautiful gardens and ate dinner outside next to a fire pit. Seriously, one of the sweetest nights EVER... I really wasn't wanting to have FUN! But, ended up having a wonderful night. Edgefield has a small movie theater on site.
