Last night was epic in Portland... Since November, when tickets went on sale the Justin Bieber concert in Portland has been SOLD OUT! We were so excited we didn't just get tickets, we where lucky enough to get a suite. We were able to go to the concert with sixteen of our friends. Little Travel Bag
This Lilly Pulitzer hot pink bag caught my eye as I was shopping through Nordstrom yesterday. I had to have it! It's a gift from Estée Lauder with a $45 purchase! I don't use much Estée Lauder now days but I use to when I was a teenager. I decide I needed to try it again! I bought some new eyeliner (black & brown) then I bought some smoothing creme concealer. Tomorrow is the Day! The Kentucky Derby... Here are a few treats you can make while enjoying the race. I found these adorable Derby cookie on Bakeat350.blogspot.com aren't these cute? You could make any shape cut out cookie, I think a two circles one smaller than the other, stacked would make a cute Derby Hat. With your cookie you also would need some "Sweet" Tea. May Day
As a child I remember making May Day flower baskets and hanging them on our neighbors door. Every May 1st I think of this special treat. How happy and surprised the receiving family would be... The baskets I made where the cone shaped- this is where you cut a 7 inch square then scallop the edges. Paper hole the ribbon through the top. I then saw this recycled can idea and thought how clever... You could even decorate the can with card stock or wrapping paper to add color. But even better you could add water to the flowers. Totem
What a fun day we had yesterday! We went to "Totem"... A Cirque du Soleil production. Ellie and her friend love these shows... Who both have danced since they were little. They appreciate all the hard work that goes into the show. Last year while in Las Vegas for a National Dance Competition we took the girls to "Mystere" another Cirque du Soleil.
