I am completely obsessed with this amazing RAINBOW party my friends over at Happy Wish Company who designed this adorable party! With all this rain we have had here in Portland, bright colors and rainbows are just what I needed. I can't get over how cute the rainbow + cloud balloons are. Also, loving the Polka Dot balloons sprinkled on the ground. (In my SHOP) All the colors are so fun and vibrant. It makes me excited for Spring. Sugared Cranberries
Ingredients 2 cups sugar 2 cups water 2 cups fresh cranberries 3/4 cup fine sanding sugar Directions Combine sugar and water in a small pan and bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes. Place the cranberries in a bowl and pour the syrup over the top. Let cool completely, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight. DIY Boxwood Backdrop
I styled this dessert table for a wedding in October. I loved how it turned out... I especially love the Boxwood Backdrop that I created. I've seen so much artificial Boxwood being used in Canada and thought to myself how can I incorporate this into my design. This is what I came up with! I also worked with an amazing graphic designer who created the monogram sign that I hung with clear wire floating in front of the Boxwood Backdrop. This look was so clean and classic. Beautiful Dessert table styled and designed by Johnston Style. It's no surprise I LOVE a good dessert table- I worked with my sweet friend at Cookies by Courtney & Company and came up with an amazing design that fit the wedding style. I think these cookies were a HIT for all ages. I added some Beaverton Bakery vanilla mini cupcakes along with a Mummy Wrapped four tiered cake chosen by the Bride & Groom. Mother's Day is coming up! It's NOT too early to get a head start on preparing something special. I'm so excited to share with you this amazing Mother's Day Brunch styled and designed by Lillian Hope Designs. These are a few of my favorite pictures. I love the pop of color... orange, pink + yellow paired with the black-n white stripe. I thought it was so cleaver how Kara used a vintage dresser instead of a traditional table to display the Food.
