About Town
Summer nights are so much FUN! Evan's playing Summer Baseball between practices and games, he hardly has time in the evening to go out "about town". Last night he didn't have any Baseball and he was able to have an evening with his two very favorite people! His Mom and his friend Lauren. Evan took us to PorQue No for dinner and then we went to Salt & Straw for dessert. The weather was sunny and warm which made for a perfect night. Tinkerbell Half Marathon
We DID IT! Ellie and I feel so accomplished. I am so proud of Ellie for finishing her first Half Marathon. We woke up at 3:30am, got ready and made our way to the start of the race. We raced through California Adventure and through Disneyland. We of course had to stop and take a few photos along the way! I had one of the BEST Mother's Day Ever. Race Prep
Big Day! This day we were prepping for "Race Day." Ellie and I went to the Expo Center to get our bibs for the race, we shopped the Expo where they had everything RUNNING you could imagine. New Balance had a special "Tinkerbell" running shoe that you can only purchase on site. Tu-tu's to fancy headbands. More runners run in costume than not... Go Ducks
We are in Dallas, Texas for the National Championship College Football Game. Oregon Ducks vs. Ohio State Buckeyes. We are so excited that the Oregon Ducks made the Championship Game, we could not NOT come and cheer them on. So, here we are... Sadly- Ohio State won... 42-20. We played a fierce game but in the end, we came up short. Needless to say, we are having the time of our life's. The AT& T Stadium was just amazing! Evan's baseball team ended up 4th in State! We are so proud of him... He had an amazing season and a wonderful team. He learned so much from his coaching staff. Downtown Portland
On Sunday, we went Downtown to the Portland Blues Festival. We had such a nice day, the weather was beautiful. The music was great and we love hanging out with the kids.
