I'm obsessed with cake stands! I think they are perfect addition to your Thanksgiving table. I love that you don't ALWAYS have to use them with desserts on them. You can use them with pumpkins on top, flowers, candles and even appetizers. I love how a cake stand gives the table some height and dimension. I also think it's special to mix and match your styles... I love during the Holidays using hand me down dishes, plates and cake stands. I have some amazing pieces from family members who have passed away. It gives me joy to use them while we are missing those family members during the season. SHOP THIS LOOK: This … [Read more...]
The Keepsake Kitchen Diary
These prints are created from a sweet friend of mine Valerie McKeehan owner of Lily & Val. Valerie is the most wonderful chalk artist. She started doodling chalk pieces years ago and realized she had a passion for being creative and even better yet people wanted to buy her pieces. Valerie started with white chalk at first then over time added more color to her prints. In 2016 Valerie launched her very first flagship store and opened a brick + mortar in Pittsburgh. Her Keepsake Kitchen Dairy is my very first GIFT IDEA for Christmas 2017. I'm going to be sharing a lot of my favorite ideas throughout this Holiday season. One of … [Read more...]
Easy Rice Krispie Halloween Treats
Everyone loves a good Rice Krispie treat! So, I say let's spice it up for the Holidays and add chocolate and sprinkles. My pantry ALWAYS has Wilton's candy melts in every color. I'm kinda obsessed. You can buy these at your local craft store. You can make your own Rice Krispie treats but my little secret when I don't have much time... I purchase the snack box at Costco. (Heehee) I have a Wilton's Melting Pot to melt my candies but IF you don't have one, you can place a handful in a microwave safe bowl and slowly heat. Melt + Stir, Melt + Stir until completely melted. Dip your treat halfway into the melted candies. Place to set … [Read more...]

I'm completely obsessed... The colors, patterns are amazing. But, most of all the pages have plenty of space to write. Today, I'm sharing the newest … [Read more...]
