It’s that time of year! Gosh, I have been shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale with you for over 10 years. Some of you have been with me that long. Where does the time go?
I shopped online on Wednesday and in store on Thursday. As the week goes on, I will continue to add a few more items… I’m waiting on my arrivals to check quality & if I’m keeping items… but, I wanted to get this blog post up as soon as possible for those of you who are shopping today!
If you’re unsure what the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is, just know that it’s basically a fall sale in July – these are the pieces I end up wearing all fall and winter long. Not only are they discounted prices (which means you save money!), but they’re high quality items from brands you trust.
Ladies, when I popped into Nordstrom and my store was out of most things in my size. This is why I shop in store and online…
Traditionally Ellie + shop the SALE together. Last year was the only year we exclusively shopped online. We LOVE going into the store. However, our store doesn’t get all the items, online has a much better selection. Gone are they days of spending a couple of hours trying on all the things. My sweet grand babies came with us this year… and that’s ok- we adjusted and had a blast with them. I am really sharing the pieces I think are truly special.
Pro tip #1: If you are shopping on the 12th, you can add things to your wishlist so you can check out easier when it’s time to shop.
Pro tip #2: Expedite shipping, it’s worth the extra fee.
Pro tip #3: The second you can shop online move all of your wishlist to your shopping cart and purchase.
Pro tip #4: IF they don’t have your size and you are wanting the item, buy it in another size and exchange it once they get it back in stock. Even after the sale is over Nordstrom will honor the price.
Pro tip #5: Know what you’re looking for, comb through your closet so you know what you’re needing to add from last season.
