Flying The Coup

Eighteen years ago when I became a Mom, I never dreamed of THIS Summer. Eighteen years ago- I waited for teeth to come in, for her to eat solid foods, what size of diapers to purchase, what theme her birthday party would be, what she would wear on Halloween. As well as many more mile stones. But when you become a Mom you never think… what is it going to be like when she moves away (tear) Ellie is the perfect combination of her father and me! I seriously don’t think I could be more proud of the young lady she has become. Ellie will be leaving in the Fall to attended Oregon State University. We just started preparing for her dorm room and trying to figure out storage, bedding and more! Stay tuned for those posts… I’ll share once she decides. For ALL you Mama’s out there that are having sleepless nights and wish your baby could be older… DON’T! They grow up way too fast… Hold on and enjoy the ride!
