I added School supplies to their place setting and they loved it. Apples, Pencils and Easers are always a fun idea when decorating for Back to School. I also made these easy pencil cookies and everyone loved them. This is what you'd need to make your family some: Ingredients: •Candy Melts [red + white] •Vanilla Wafer Cookies •Mini Chocolate Chips Melt WHITE candy melts in … [Read more...]

Thanksgiving Tablescape Ideas
I LOVE this time of the year! I love the smell of Holiday season. I love staying inside watching Hallmark movies all curled up in a fuzzy blanket on the couch. I have to say... Thanksgiving is my very favorite Holiday. I like food, yes... but the "tablescapes" are definitely right up there with celebrating with family. (Obsessed) Thanksgiving is all about the classic entertaining. There AREN'T gifts involved it's just a joyous occasion celebrated around the dinner table. I am a major Pinterest scroller. When I'm relaxing on the weekends, I love to find inspiration from … [Read more...]

Mini Heart Balloons
Eeeeek! I am so excited to be announcing these NEW little mini balloons have arrived in my SHOP! I love balloons but mini's are even better... they come 5 in one package and they are multi color in each package. I went to a Valentine's lunch last year and the host used these as a backdrop to her dessert table. I fell in LOVE! You can also use them as decorations on the table itself. You could hang them with some ribbon through a doorway or whatever you see fit. Have FUN with these little guys... they can hardly wait to get to your home and celebrate! … [Read more...]
Target Valentines Style
Besides being candy jar obsessed, I am also completely obsessed with Targets dollar section! These were $3 each... I found my sweet Nob Hill knock offs at TARGET. Yep, you heard right... the glassware and the candy dishes surprisingly both are glass not plastic. I also found the smaller cookie stand there too. Targets Valentines section could have been a problem for me but I was able to grab and go! I only had a small amount of time to get in and out of there and I wasn't going to look for Valentines stuff. (heehee) If you think it's all junk and you just walk by because it's cheaper... I'm here to say "don't do it!" Look at all the … [Read more...]
Lights, Camera, Action
This last weekend we had our Clackamas High School baseball auction- the decorating committee has been working on the theme and design since last September. We came up with Lights, Camera, Action specializing in baseball movies with a Hollywood Oscar vibe! We decorated 30 tables of 10, the entry, the bar, a photo booth and the main stage. I've been on this decoration committee 4 years now and every year I'm excited about what we do, but I have to say this year was my very favorite. The auction went well and now this amazing committee is Rock in' and Roll in' ideas for next year! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! … [Read more...]
Mad For Plaid
I am crazy about Plaid this Holiday season! I found these adorable plates and I just had to share them with you. First of all, I found the plates and knew they would be perfect for a Christmas Celebration. I also found these stag dessert/salad plates with coordinating antler napkin rings. Which added a rustic element to the plaid plate, I then added a solid red plate under the plaid one for dimension and a Holiday feeling. The green napkin was another color I pulled off of the plaid plate. But all in all when it came together, this is what it looked like. Next, I'll add flowers to the table, glasses and silverware. Then, let the party … [Read more...]
Copper Game
My sweet friend MaryAnn designed and styled this table scape... Today's look is called Copper Game, any guesses WHY? I'm loving the copper detail she decided to use. To see more of MaryAnn's table scapes, head over to her blog HERE. The copper Moscow Mule mugs are too much FUN and taste great! I love how she paired it with a copper napkin ring. As I've been shopping for Christmas and I've notice ALOT of copper out there. I've seen a ton of copper bar cart treats, my favorite was this Martha Stewart bar set... I thought it was adorable. I hope you like this look I shared... Happy Thanksgiving! SHOP THIS LOOK: … [Read more...]
