What a YEAR so far! I have entered 2019 running. I realize- I won’t be able to keep up this pace, but I’ve ALREADY managed to Speak at a conference, I’ve completed (2) online workshops courses Shanna Skidmore’s (The Blueprint Model) + Amber Housley’s (Flourish). I read Rachel Hollis “Girl, Wash Your Face.” I was forever changed when I saw Rachel Hollis movie “Made For More.” I have styled and hosted a Galentine’s Day Party.
All in 27 days! Wowza… The only thing getting in my way is ME! Move over ME, there is a NEW SHERIFF in town.
Years ago, I remember watching The Oprah Winfrey show and Oprah was talking about you will know when, you know what your purpose IS! To this day, I’m still asking myself? Why me? What am I here to do for others? What is my life’s mission? I always thought it was to be a mother. My greatest accomplishment has always been having two amazing kids. I knew… THAT was my life’s mission. UNTIL, this New Year. Then, I started asking myself that question again? Why me? What am I suppose to be doing? It wasn’t until after reading Rachel’s book and watching her movie did I realize maybe, just maybe my purpose is the serve others and be YOUR BEST FRIEND?! See, I am a good friend and I’m an even better CHEERLEADER! Maybe my purpose in life is NOT to be on TOP but to be cheering for others on the sidelines? Being the motivation for others to achieve THEIR goals. THIS is probably WHY I love speaking. I will continue to ask myself the WHY but in the meantime I will continue on my path of service to others. If you are one of those people who needs a friend? I’m HERE for YOU!
