Kitchen Table DIY

This is a Pottery Barn kitchen table Jason got me for Valentine’s Day, Oh… probably 20 years ago! I still LOVE it’s style but wasn’t loving the COLOR. I almost got ride of it a few times but finally came to the realization it was only the color I wasn’t liking. So, I decided to see if I could change the color to something I liked? (I’m glad I did)

I headed down to Home Depot and bought a sander (exact one HERE) Came straight home and went to work. One of my Instagram friends stained a door in her room with this same stain and I ended up loving that. So, why not give this a try on my table?

I bought this OLD BARN MILK PAINT in the color “weathered”… I ordered it from their store online.

My first coat looked something like this… NOT SURE I LIKED IT!

After it dried, I decided to sand it ALL down again… I know, I’m CRAZY. The family almost liked it just pure with NO stain. I knew this could be good IF it ended up working. I went ahead and stained it all up with The Paint.

Here’s the before and after… What do you think?
