Last night, Jason surprised me and took me downtown to an awesome BBQ dinner date. We had such a great time. I love trying new restaurants and we tend to go to the same places. Russell Street BBQ is in NE Portland. This restaurant has a fun rustic flair to it… I loved the old Portland Bottling Company crate housing the bar accessories. (Adorable) For an appetizer we ordered BBQ Shrimp- Holy Cow! It came sitting inside of a BBQ Smoked Cheese sauce. WHAT? But yummy… I ordered Beef Brisket with a side of Chili con Carne. Jason ordered Baby Back Pork Ribs with his side Mess O’greens and BBQ Beans. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomaches. We brought so much home. Oh, I almost forgot… my “Cowgirl Margarita” Super yummy! What a nice surprise… Thank you Jason. Must try if you’re in Portland.
