I feel super honored to have been asked to bake and decorate 14 dozens of cookies for the end of the year Tea for The National Charity League. Although, I have a lot of things to learn when it comes to decorating and I'm still learning the tricks or the trade. Practice makes perfect, royal icing is hard to get perfect. Royal Icing
I had over 300 cookies to make for our High Schools baseball auction! I decided to make sugar cookies and do ROYAL ICING for the first time... I made stars and oscars for our Lights, Camera, Action theme. I used Sweet Topia's Royal Icing Recipe and I have to say... It was amazing! I can hardly believe it worked. For me the key was adding drops of water to get to the consistency I wanted for the perfect piping. I first piped the outside of the frosting then came back in and filled the inside.
