Royal Icing

I had over 300 cookies to make for our High Schools baseball auction! I decided to make sugar cookies and do ROYAL ICING for the first time… I made stars and oscars for our Lights, Camera, Action theme. I used Sweet Topia’s Royal Icing Recipe and I have to say… It was amazing! I can hardly believe it worked. For me the key was adding drops of water to get to the consistency I wanted for the perfect piping. I first piped the outside of the frosting then came back in and filled the inside. I also added edible glitter on the top to add a little sparkle to the design. So much FUN! I’m so happy to be done, but definitely would frost with Royal Icing again.
