The Best Of 2016

As 2016 comes to an end… I am so grateful for all that happened throughout the year and wanted to share my favorites with you!

February, I met my sweet Instagram friend Jenny Keller with Jenny Cookies. I attended a Valentines luncheon she hosted in Seattle, Washington. She was as beautiful in person as she was on Instagram.

Mother’s Day weekend I attended Create & Cultivate in Los Angeles. I can’t believe how much FUN I had. I met these amazing bloggers. I also met one of my favorites all time bloggers, Christine Andrews from Hello Fashion.

This was the year I officially started my online boutique. Over the last couple years I had been researching and designing my website and online shop. It had been very difficult and time consuming, but I powered through. I accomplished the goal I set for myself and I couldn’t be more proud of what I achieved. Check it out HERE.

In August, I attended The Savvy Conference in  Scottsdale, Arizona. I was blessed to be a sponsor for this event, we used a number of products from my online boutique as swag and gifts for evening parties. Hanging at The Saguaro pool in August… yep, sign me up!

This year my official Logo was designed by one of my very favorites Lisa McGuire with Crave Designs.

In September- I was back in Nashville, Tennessee. This was my third year in a row attending The Inspired Retreat! I’m planning on returning again this year…. The Inspired Retreat has a very special place in my heart.

We attended and were part of a very special Family wedding in October. This is a picture of my sweet Husband & I- We had such a FUN evening!

Halloween afternoon, I had my very first television appearance on our local KATU “Afternoon Live!” I talked and shared ideas for Halloween treats like these Mummy Cookies that can be easily made to impress all your guests at your Halloween party. I was super nervous, but my family said I did great! (love them) Bucket List… Check!

Last by not last, In November- I spent the week celebrating my 45th Birthday in Hawaii. My Husband brought the kids along and we had such a wonderfully relaxing week. I love my family so much… How did my little nuggets get so big? They are a Senior & Junior in High School and couldn’t be more proud of them!

I have to laugh… I posted my #2016bestnine on Instagram! Which was the first cluster of nine photos, my favorites throughout the year… Then my daughter, informed me that it isn’t what I pick but what YOU picked as my viewers. HeeHee… The last cluster of nine are the REAL 2016 best nine! You guys are the sweetest, 6 out of 9 have me in them- Ugh! I guess you guys like seeing me on Instagram? Maybe 2017 I’ll try to add more of me photos? No promises… Happy New Year!
