DIY Edible Bumblebee

Bumblebee’s are usually NOT fun when they attend one of your parties. However, these easy DYI edible bumblebees are just the perfect addition to YOUR next party! I just styled this amazing Bumblebee Birthday Party and thought I’d share how I made the BEE’s.

Using (4) Ingredients

Black Jelly Beans, Black Decorating Gel, Sugar Paper, Yellow Jordan Almonds

I started by placing the Almonds on a baking rack and drizzled Black Gel across the backs of the bees for their stripes. Next, I cut the rounded part off of the Jelly Bean for the bees head. Using the Decorating Gel, I attached the Jelly Bean to the Jordan Almond.

Let the Gel DRY overnight. The next day, using the Sugar Paper, I cut out wings and attached them to the Bumblebee’s back using the Black Gel. Voilá- Edible Bumblebee’s!

These bees are great for placing on any dessert/food table. I think they would be adorable on cupcakes as well.
