Strawberry Sweetheart Pie

I’m so excited to be sharing this recipe with you! It is so delicious and so adorable. I cheated just a bit and used a store bought Pillsbury pie crust but I did shared a great recipe above if you’d rather make your own. I’ve never made a strawberry pie before and feel like it almost should be something I’d make around the Fourth of July. I would probably make the top crust lattice for a Fourth of July party but because it’s almost Valentine’s Day I decided to use a small heart cookie cutter and cut out hearts all over the top crust. I baked the pie at 350 degrees for 45 minutes and added tinfoil for the last 10 minutes. I didn’t place mine on a cookie sheet but would recommend doing that as well. This protects your oven from any Strawberry  drips that could occur. Enjoy!
